Other archive systems
Permanent systems unlocked after rebirth, including collation, library rooms, editorial policy, letters and proofreading anomalies.
Editorial Policies
Available after rebirth, this advanced automation system combines conditions such as HP, bosses and expedition success rates with actions such as skills, expeditions and Focus. Arrange up to 8 rules or start from a template.
- Page of Tending: If HP is 35% or below, use a Page of Restoration.
- Counterproof Against the Chapter Lord: During battle against a Chapter Boss, use Pen of Rebuttal when available.
- Dispatch an idle squad: If a 3-unit standby squad is available, dispatch it to an unlocked expedition.
- Margin Focus: If Focused Recording is available, perform an addition once.
- Post-Defeat Reorganization: Upon defeat, resume from the same encounter.
Collation Board
A deduction board for filling missing pages across 12 chapters with testimony fragments. Wrong answers carry no penalty; correct solutions grant a permanent bonus or a one-time archive reward.
Library Rooms
Place recorded Echoes in six rooms for small production, expedition and offline bonuses. The exhibition room has a visitor score. There is no upkeep or daily requirement.
| Room | Details | slot |
|---|---|---|
| Bindery | A room for binding pages and layering prints. Procedures from recorded Echoes blend into production. | 2 |
| Proofreading Room | A room for comparing red lines and margins. Makes hazardous expedition routes easier to spot. | 2 |
| Exhibition Hall | A room for displaying gathered memories. Visitors' reactions increase what expeditions bring back. | 2 |
| Expedition Prep Room | A room for spreading out maps and field gear. Keeps preparations tidy while away, boosting rewards upon return. | 2 |
| Knotting Room | A room for selecting thread and leather. Knots between Echoes aid the flow of production. | 2 |
| Break Room | A room where closed books are laid to rest. The longer you stay away, the thicker the record waiting when you return. | 2 |
Retelling the run
Run drafts at rebirth, correspondence at milestones, and an editorial journal on returning from offline play. None expire.
Proofreading Anomalies
After rebirth, Proofreading Anomalies can be discovered by defeating chapter rulers, succeeding at expeditions, returning after at least 30 minutes away, or reaching Endless Archive floor 25. Repeated misses increase the chance. There are no deadlines or exclusive rewards.
